During Alpha there is exactly one way to use CMP42: the Design Partner Program. €6,900 one-time for six months of Alpha from October 2026, direct access to the founder and a lifetime founder rate. Standard pricing follows at general availability in H1 2027.
A FIXED PRICE FOR A REAL ALPHA.
The Design Partner Program takes twelve companies into six months of Alpha, starting October 2026. The price is fixed: €6,900 net, paid once — not per month, not per seat. All figures are net prices for entrepreneurs (§ 14 BGB); CMP42 is not sold to consumers. Under a direct contract with protagx no VAT is charged (§ 19 UStG, Kleinunternehmerregelung); when purchased through a sales partner the partner’s own VAT rates apply.
One fixed price keeps the Alpha simple: no seats to count and no usage meter to watch while the product still changes weekly. In return for real usage and honest feedback, partners get the founder’s time, a say in the roadmap, and the right to name a tool that ships to every future customer.
Applications close in December 2026. Applying is free: send the form, and we book a 15-minute call within a week. No slide deck, no pitch — we decide together whether the fit is real.
THE TWELVE GET EVERYTHING.
What you get
- Direct-Slack access to the founder throughout the six months. No support tier, no ticket queue.
- Monthly co-design call — one hour, on your roadmap. What you need, in what order, at what depth.
- Priority feature requests. Anything you flag as blocking gets a named next-release slot.
- Name one MCP tool. Propose a tool that fits your workflow. If it fits the platform, we build it and ship it with your naming, to every future customer.
- Full Alpha access to the hosted platform, the self-hosted image, and every model / process API surface.
- Lifetime founder rate — whatever we charge at GA, you keep the Design Partner rate as long as you stay.
- Public case study — optional. If you agree, we co-write it. If not, we quietly acknowledge you and never name you without permission.
What we ask in return
- Real usage. Actual data on our platform, not a demo tenant. If you cannot get authorisation to run a real workload, defer to Beta.
- Weekly feedback loop — a short async note or a 30-minute call. Silence for a month is fine; a whole quarter is not.
- Honest defect reports. Alpha ships weekly and things will break. You tell us fast, we fix fast.
- Realistic evaluation against the tools you use today, not against marketing pages.
- Design conversations under NDA — what we build together is not a public specification until we ship it.
- Nothing else. No testimonials, referrals or logos required. Those are gifts, not requirements.

The three movements are not upsell tiers. Context, Models and Processes are included in every plan — in the Design Partner Program today, and in the plans we publish at general availability. A CRM built for agents does not work with one of the three missing.

WHAT HAPPENS AT MONTH SIX.
At the end of the six months, we decide jointly with each partner: continue at the Design Partner rate, or move to a GA plan. Design Partners keep their lifetime founder rate for as long as they stay — whatever standard pricing turns out to be, you will not be moved onto it unless you choose to.
The exact post-Alpha terms are confirmed with each partner on the call. The one-time €6,900 covers the six months of Alpha in full. From month seven, Design Partners continue on the lifetime founder rate: €149 net per workspace per month, invoiced annually (~€1,788 net per year), on the Managed tier with unlimited users and every feature the Design Partners shaped in the Alpha. Continuation is opt-in — no automatic conversion, no price increase while the contract runs without interruption.
If you cannot commit to real usage now, that is fine — Beta opens to a broader waitlist in Q1 2027.

The pricing shape at GA is a two-tier ladder plus a self-hosted option. Starter is aimed at teams of up to ten users on one workspace and lists at €149 net per month or €1,788 net per year — all features, EU-hosted, support within two working days. Team covers up to fifty users across three workspaces at €449 net per month or €5,388 net per year, adding single sign-on, one-working-day support and a custom admin-UI domain. Self-hosted costs 20% less than the equivalent managed tier when paid annually (see the licence terms above). Enterprise — anything beyond fifty users, dedicated SLAs or a custom DPA — is quoted on request.

Is €6,900 a one-time or a monthly price?
One-time. The Design Partner Program costs €6,900, paid once, for the six-month Alpha starting October 2026 — including everything listed under “What you get”.
Is €6,900 the price forever?
€6,900 net is the one-time price for the Alpha programme. After Alpha, Design Partners keep the Design Partner rate — the lifetime founder rate — for as long as they stay. At GA we will publish standard pricing; you will not be moved onto it unless you choose to.

Do Context, Models or Processes cost extra?
No. Context, Models and Processes are included in every plan — in the Design Partner Program and in the plans we publish at GA.
When will standard pricing be published?
At general availability, planned for H1 2027. We will not publish placeholder numbers before then. Managed EU and self-hosted options are planned; their pricing will be published at the same time.
Does applying cost anything?
No. The application form and the 15-minute call are free. If we both say yes, you get access within seven days.
What if we cannot commit to real usage in Alpha?
Then defer to Beta. We prefer a small, honest Alpha over a broad, quiet one. Beta opens in Q1 2027 with a waitlist.
What if we drop out of Alpha?
Your slot returns to the pool. Your data is exported to you in a standard format and deleted from our side within 30 days. Your MCP tool remains in the product with your acknowledgement. A regular termination by the Design Partner does not trigger a pro-rata refund of the fee, because the programme deliverables — Slack channel, monthly co-design call, prioritised feature work — are provided in full regardless of intensity of use. A termination for good cause on the Design Partner’s side follows AGB § 6 and is settled pro rata.
