FOR DESIGN PARTNERS, STEP BY STEP.
| When | What happens | What it means for Design Partners |
|---|---|---|
| Now Applications | The Design Partner Program is open for twelve companies until December 2026. | Send the application. We book a 15-minute call within a week. If both sides say yes, you get access within seven days: a one-hour onboarding, a shared Slack channel and a first-model mapping session. |
| Oct 2026 Alpha | Six months of Alpha with a weekly release cadence — the hosted platform, the self-hosted image, and every model and process API surface. | Real usage with real data. A weekly feedback loop, a monthly co-design call, direct Slack access to the founder, priority on anything you flag as blocking. |
| Q4 2026 Stabilisation | The MCP tool surface stabilises. First case studies are published. | Tool names and shapes you helped design settle down, so agents in production stop chasing changes. Case studies are optional — co-written with you, or not at all. |
| Q1 2027 Beta | Beta opens to a broader waitlist. The self-hosted image is published. | Your Alpha work becomes the baseline others start from. Teams who could not commit to real usage in Alpha join here. |
| H1 2027 GA | General availability. Standard pricing is published. | You keep the Design Partner rate for as long as you stay. At month six of the Alpha we jointly decide: continue at the Design Partner rate, or migrate to GA. |
DESIGN PARTNERS SHAPE IT.
The timeline above is the frame. What goes into each release is decided with the twelve.
Co-design call
One hour, every month, on your roadmap: what you need, in what order, at what depth. What we design together stays under NDA until it ships.
Priority requests
Anything you flag as blocking gets a named next-release slot. With weekly releases, “next release” means days, not quarters.
Name one MCP tool
Propose a tool that fits your workflow. If it fits the platform, we build it and ship it with your naming — to every future customer.
Feedback loop
A short async note or a 30-minute call each week. Honest defect reports, fast fixes. Silence for a month is fine; a whole quarter is not.
JOIN THE BETA WAITLIST.
Alpha asks for real usage: actual data on the platform, not a demo tenant. If you cannot get authorisation to run a real workload yet, that is fine — defer to Beta. We prefer a small, honest Alpha over a broad, quiet one.
Beta opens in Q1 2027 with a waitlist. To be notified, write to us at hello@protagx.com with the subject line below — there is no separate sign-up form because there are no cookies, no analytics and no CRM widget on this site. We reply within two working days to confirm your spot on the waitlist.
CMP42 Beta waitlist
TARGETS, NOT PROMISES.
Dates are quarters and half-years on purpose. We will move faster where the Design Partners need it and slower where getting it right matters more than getting it early — an MCP tool surface that agents depend on in production should stabilise once, not three times.
What actually shipped is recorded in the changelog, which carries weekly release notes from October 2026.
